Oregon Alpha Brothers Class of 1988 gather for their annual football outing, this time at the Beaver 2017 opening game at Colorado State August 26th.

At the 2017 Annual Awards Banquet, Dick Thompson presented Ron with this plaque in recognition of his three decades of service to Oregon Alpha, the Oregon Alpha Alumni Association and House Corporation, and the national fraternity. Ron served on the Supreme Council and provided many years of guidance and advice as Oregon Alpha's Chapter Advisor. We are proud of your service Ron to the fraternity.

At the House Corporation meeting December 2nd with the leadership of SAE's Oregon Alpha chapter, Bill Brennan "retired" as a board member and a wonderful advisor and consultant to the House Corporation, Alumni Association and active chapter. November 22, 2016 - Civil War Week in Corvallis. The chapter held its 17th annual Dining on Duck dinner with special guest speaker former Beaver tight end Rod Peterson '74. Rod talked about his recruitment to OSU, his 1973 catch that set up the winning touchdown over Oregon, and his admiration for former Coach Dee Andros. Rod also talked about the importance of "The True Gentleman" and "The Man In The Mirror" in his life. The chapter dining room was packed with over 100 brothers in attendance. Thanks to Scott Spiegelberg '73 for his continued leadership in hosting this great Oregon Alpha tradition.

The Class of 1986 held their 30 reunion October 8, 2016 at the Beaver victory over the California Golden Bears. EA Aaron Harris organized the event. Fraternity looks great after 30 years of friendship!

Tyler Thompson '05 was presented with the "Order of the Lion" alumni award by ESA Steve Churchill at the fraternity's Tri-Board meeting held October 7, 2016 at the Marriott Riverfront Hotel in Portland. This gathering brought together the entire leadership of the fraternity for an annual meeting. Tyler has served as the president of the Portland Area Alumni Association since 2011. Also pictured is Tyler's dad, Dick Thompson '73, President of the Oregon Alpha Alumni Association.

Oregon Alpha held a formal initiation ceremony for 50 new members on October 2, 2016. Congratulations to Recruitment Chairs Chad Casebeer and Braden Vogt!
